Turquoise coves, the islet of Es Vedrà at sunset and the UNESCO-listed old town of Dalt Vila. Ibiza Town is a quarter of an hour from the airport, the villas of the north about forty minutes.
Emerald water, wind-sculpted granite and coves you can only reach by sea. Porto Cervo is about half an hour from Olbia airport, Porto Rotondo around twenty minutes.
The Promenade des Anglais and the Baie des Anges, with Monaco, Cannes and Saint-Tropez along the same coast. Nice airport sits on the sea, a quarter of an hour from the city centre.
Lake Geneva, the Jet d'Eau and a city of private banks, grand hotels and fine watchmaking. In winter Chamonix is an hour's drive away, Verbier and Courchevel just over two.
